The slice of hollow Agate exhibits black-brown and white colors arranged in circular patterns and blended in clouds. These variations are created by depositions of minerals filling the cracks in mostly volcanic rocks. They slowly work their way from the walls to the interior but do not proceed far enough to fill the cavity. As the last inner layer, Agate forms a crust of glittering crystals.
